Littlefoot

Littlefoot is an open world walking simulator and stealth game about a halfling mailman in a dangerous fantasy land. As that very same mailman, players must navigate from client to recipient while avoiding the many dangers that stand in their way. 

Players have access two vital tools to help them on their journey. First and foremost, their small stature allows them to fit in tight spaces and hide from those who would do them harm. They also have access to a magical staff that grants two effects: light and invisibility. These can only be used one at a time and slow the players movement meaning that they will need strategize and pick on the fly between sight, stealth and speed.

With a detailed quest system, players can undertake several delivery jobs at a time, allowing them to maximize the rewards for their efforts. If multiple packages are bound for similar destinations, it would be best to carry them together.

In this demo, the player is tasked with delivering a request for aid to the human captain on the other side of a dangerous underground passage. They must find their way there independently, evade the monsters that may block their path and hopefully find some others who need help along the way. A final version of Littlefoot would include many more deliveries, a largely expanded world and progression allowing players to upgrade and unlock new magic for their staff. It would also feature a wide variety of encounters in the world, both random and quest specific.
